Do you have stretchmarks or scars that you would like to improve the appearance of?
MCA needling (Multitrepannic collagen actuation) is a form of collagen induction therapy that uses tattoo needles to cause trauma to the scarred area, stimulating and encouraging the natural healing process. It is not the same as micro needling or derma rolling as this is a medical treatment that causes more precise and targeted trauma which in return increases collagen and elastin. It can flatten, smooth and shrink the scar. One of the best responses it can produce is the increase in production of skin pigment in the area meaning white scars and stretchmarks can start to blend with our own skin tone.
This is the only treatment I know of that works on old stretchmarks. There is no Lasers I know of that help bring back the colour.
MCA needling is one of the most effective treatments for scars and stretchmarks and has been used in hospitals for years.
When will I see results?
Whilst there is no guarantee of exact results as everyone’s response to healing is different,
I recommend being patient and having 3-6 sessions done 6 weeks apart. But most clients see a good change after one session.
Am I suitable for treatment?
Scars need to be older than a year and we cannot treat keloid scars or someone who has a history of keloid scaring unless there’s a letter from doctor confirming they are ok for treatment. Anyone who suffers from hyperpigmentation we need to approach treatment with caution. We give free consultations before every treatment.
After having this treatment done personally, I knew I wanted to offer this in my salon. The treatment improved the appearance of my stretchmarks which in turn improved my confidence and happiness. I would love to give other women that same feeling, there is no better feeling than being comfortable in your own skin!
MICRONEEDLING FACIAL
Price: £50
This treatment is designed to stimulate the natural collagen in our skin. It is a less invasive treatment than Mca Dry needling and we recommend this treatment for the face for scars, acne scars and fine line & wrinkles. Tiny needles are used repeatedly to puncture the skin and this creates
microscopic channels in the dermis layer where collagen is produced.
While the outside layer of skin is unaffected by the procedure, the body receives the treatment as trauma to the area and so begins to produce compensatory
amounts of collagen.
Microneedling produces a specific variety of collagen referred to as Type 111 Collagen, the body's natural healing agent. In addition to healing the skin, it diminishes the scars and unevenness. The skin can appear
smoother and plumper to reduce the pitting and hyper-pigmentation left by acne marks.
