Hosting a
princess party at our Brentwood salon
is the ultimate way to treat your little one and her friends to a magical celebration that they are sure to treasure for the rest of their lives. However, emotions can run high on these occasions when your kids are buzzing with excitement and you are trying to get on top of all the details.
This calls for a strategy to ensure that the event will run smoothly and be an enjoyable and stress-free experience for everyone involved. Here are some top tips!
Leave the pampering to the professionals
Part of the charm of a princess party is the chance for children to dress up and step into the shoes of their favourite characters for a couple of hours. However, to avoid disappointment if a magical transformation fails to materialise, be sure to book your event in advance at our fairytale salon.
We will take care of the hair and makeup styling at our pink palace, so all you have to do is find your princess a dress that looks the part and leave the rest to our team of professional stylists. We will wave our magic wands and sprinkle fairy dust with generous amounts of glittery makeup and hair accessories so everyone will look special and feel the part!
Plan well ahead
To avoid disappointment, plan well in advance and choose your theme, so that all of your guests can RSVP in good time and decide on their costume. You may wish to narrow down the princess theme to a specific fairytale or animated film, with so many classics such as Frozen, Beauty and the Beast, and The Little Mermaid to choose from.
Set a budget so that you know how much you want to spend on venue hire, catering, decorations, and entertainment. Book your venue before you send out the invitations to ensure you don’t have to revise the time or date.
If your child’s birthday falls at a time when many people will be away, such as a Bank Holiday weekend, consider postponing the celebration until more people can attend. In terms of numbers, check how many guests the venue can handle, and pick a number that aligns with your budget.
If your child is over five or six years old they have probably already started to form their own friendship circles, so it may be simpler and more budget-friendly to invite a handful of close friends rather than a large gang.
Plan some fun decor
If you are booking with us, we will handle all of the entertainment and activities, so you do not have to worry about how to fill in the time! However, we encourage you to arrive an hour in advance to set up some themed decorations to create the right atmosphere. We provide treats including popcorn and donuts, but you may wish to supply additional catering.
